04/28/99 - Georgia has closed all Payday/Check Cashing businesses.
04/30/98 - Legislation failed to be passed and will be reinitiated next year. In the meantime, the Insurance Commission has taken it into their hands with assistance from the DA's office to close Payday Loan operations.
